J. A. Hall is with his father in Charlotte, N. C.

W. H. Harris is editor of the Concord Sun, in North Carolina.

D. P. Winfree is in Raleigh, N. C.

F. L. Smith and C. A. Gibson are at their homes in Concord, N. C.

Sergt. C. A. Smith, or "Dick," is in the drug business in Baltimore.

S. P. Withers of the "editorial corps," is in Chester, S. C.

F. B. Farant is "pressing brick" for Street, Walker & Co., in Norfolk.

"Bill" Newton is clerking for a wholesale feed store in Norfolk.

Gordon Foy is with H. M. Smith & Co. in Richmond. He has lately invented a cigarette machine, which bids fair to make his fortune.

Capt. Coffman is reaching for "persimmons" on Tom's Creek.

Charlie Howard is studying law in Richmond.

Arthur Lloyd is at the University, and will attend the Theological Seminary near Alexandria.

Bob Minor is teaching school in Albermarle[sic] county.

C. C. Cocke is farming in Fluvanna county.

H. H. Carter is pitching a crop of tobacco in Nottoway county.

"Preacher" Swanson graduated with distinction at the top of his class at Baltimore Medical College, February last.

"Shad" Nelson is still fishing on Tom's Creek.

Sergeant-Major Randolph, of the "corps," is alive, and farming in Isle of Wight.

"Judge" John Lee Underwood is married, and of course is in business, we presume farming.

E. L. Bill, who was accidentally shot, has recovered with the loss of an eye.

Tom Lawson has returned from his trapping expedition, and is engaged in perfuming Blacksburg.

Alex. Black has returned from the "Eastern Lunatic Asylum," and is now actively engaged in closing up the business of his father, Dr. Black.

H. E. Thomas is farming on Roanoke river, Montgomery county.

Harvey Reynolds, of Patrick, is in the tobacco business.

Capt. F. B. Roberts is farming in Charlotte county.

"Bill" Wright, of Petersburg, is married. We wish you good luck, old fellow.

C. B. Francisco is drumming for Henry S. King & Son, hardware merchants, of Baltimore.

J. Evans, of Montgomery, is farming.

Lieut. D. W. Lynch is farming in Washington.

"Artemus" Ward, of Tazwell, is raising cattle and farming.

We are always glad to hear from our old friends, and hope they will write often and let us hear from any ex-Cadet in their neighborhood, as we wish to keep our papr as interesting to our absent friend possible, and they all express pleasure and interest in our personals.
