MEDALS.
The race for "Improvement Medals" has commenced in both Societies. The number of contestants is unusually large, and the "Rats," especiall[sic], are taking great interest in this department of the society work. Each one, we have no doubt, expects to carry off the "gold," and have already selected a fair one on whom to bestow their laurels. We wish them all success.
